I need to learn to set goals and actaully achieve them, rather than make new goals everytime something more interesting comes up. How do you be less spontaneous. I should start with specific things.

im 2 spontaneous, i change my mind about everything, i hate making plans and i love jus doing things straight away as i think of them, if a guy asked me out and said do u wanna go out on thursday id prolly say yes then cancel but if a guy said do u wanna go out wiv me 2night id say yes and go, i always keep ppl guessing about wat im gonna do, and it annoys the fuck outta my family, i dont know why but is kinda fun somtimes jus not caring wats gonna happen the next minute coz nothings planned, i am late quite a lot aswell so thats a down side lol

I was never an overly spontaneous person, I find myself planning like a scandinavian, and getting pleasure out of doing it (out of planning holidays while I’m at work for example).
But then when I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, it took even more of the spontaneity out of my life because you have to plan exercise, food and insulin to get your blood sugars in balance.
I do however, do seemingly spontaneous things (like moving to new york to study) in a planned kinda way. That’ll have to do. At least I can say that I have worn a chicken suit.
