Learn to brew beer

brewing is interesting to me because i enjoy beer so i think this would be enjoyable

I went to the home brew supply store today and got the low down on brewing beer. Geez…I had no idea that it was such an involved process. Yes, I like beer, but I don’t think I like beer THAT much. The upfront costs are somewhat of an obstacle. The owner of the store suggested that we think about making our own soda instead—-the process is simpler and the cost of production is much lower. Now soda….I LIKE soda.

My family has been brewing beer since before I was born. They have this great picture of my capping bottles when I was three. It’s a lot of fun, and makes for a great conversation.

I live with an avid homebrewer, and have for some time now. I’ve been interested in the brewing process on many levels. I’d like to start simple, before I move on to lambics and belgian ales. My ultimate goal is to produce a batch of cherry lambic and a La Fin Du Monde clone.
