I’m already into this book a bit, but I’ve slacked off. So I’m putting it on my list here—I want to read the whole thing.

This book was great! I had to read another Dickens when I read the Tale of Two Cities. I was not disapointed. :)
it’s a hella good book
i read it for school just recently
don’t cheat and watch the southpark version..
..though it’s hilarious!
After weeks of dragging my heels just sped through from the middle to the end today. So worth it. I was crying at the end. now understand why this is a classic.
Great Expectations about Great Expectations. This is a worthwile goal. When you finish this book you will want to read another classic. Iguarentee it.
I loved ‘A Tale of Two Cities’ – one of my fave books of all time. So I thought I’d read another Dickens book – and it was such a trial to get through the whole thing. It was one of his last novels so I think that the only reason why it’s a classic because he had already established his reputation as a great novelist beforehand and this book was written quite differently from his earlier works.
There was not a single character there that I liked or even sympathised with. Pip was a sissy, and I didn’t understand his infatuation with that spoiled brat of a girl. I could go on about how I didn’t enjoy it.. but think I’ll leave off and just forget that I read this book.
I read this last year. Great read. Made me appreciate Dickens more. Just finished watching Bleak House on PBS—that was great as well.
It’s part of a collection of “classics” that my sister bought for me. It’s sitting next to my bed, but I haven’t cracked it open yet.
i always get stuck at the part when pip meets that old lady and then he gets sold or something and then there’s that girl he’s in love with (?). i dunno. its such a long book and if i dont read things fast i tend to forget thing that are happening.
