move away from this hellhole

Hurray!!!

I think I’m stuck here. Might as well settle in…

Two to finish school, two to work until I’m qualified to take the NCIDQ. And then it’s back down south, baby. So far south so fast the leaves will be torn from the trees in the gale of my mighty wake. And I’m not stopping ‘til Georgia.

I want to go someplace where there’s no film on the water and it never drops more than fifteen degrees below freezing. Someplace where I can see the stars at night instead of a dull orange glow. Blast you, civilization.

Being such a small town, what would otherwise go unnoticed in a larger community, is annoyingly obvious. I am tired of the petty gossip and snarky groups of women who live to exclude others and spreading vicious lies about people they feel are beneath them gets them aroused. Im tired of the rampant drug use and alcoholism among teens and the acceptance by the majority of burnt out hippy parents, and the loud mouth dopers in town that publicly insult our surprisingly clean police dpt. I am thoroughly ready to leave behind my vile SIL and her insulting, spineless mother. I want to go somewhere with more sunshine, less rain, more to offer my children and me in the area of spirituality, education, and recreation.

I never planned on landing here again but one thing in life led to another and well, here I am. My plan is to pay off my car and my credit card debt and launch myself outta this place. I’m definitely at a low point in my life.

This place is NOT a good place to live if you’re a single, open-minded, professional, non-Southern Baptist.
