compare prices for energy, phone etc. and change to the best offer

...I changed the phone landline to ADSL, which supposedly works within 24 hours when we restart the modem. So we’ll try that tonight.
I also entered the figures from our gas and electricity meters.
I can’t wait to see what the difference will be between the old and the new bill. If it’s big enough, maybe I can also convince otehrs to change to Energiedirect.nl, which would mean that I can get a 20EUR discount for one month per successful reference.

...from the national landline provider KPN to Orange, our ADSL provider. Let’s see how this is going.

Now I am changing to the new company in Febuary. They say that they can be this competitive because the customer gets communication only per e-mail and not per mail, and that they don’t pay high executive salaries and don’t have a fancy company office building.
Their call center was pretty shitty, too, judging by the background noise and the girl who took my info. I had to tell her three times that she got my initials wrong. They are at the beginning of my e-mail address, so that was not the best first customer contact I’ve ever experienced, but she apologised for the call to be a bit “bumpy”.

Now, I am waiting for a call back from my ADSL supplier to find out more about changing from the normal landline to internet telephony. We shall see.
