I forgot about this one (just as I pretty much forgot about this site), but I’ve been working on it lately. I have over half of the songs on my computer rated. Pretty soon I’ll be able to start going through this, deleting anything with just 1 or 2 stars, and I’ll have a more managable collection of music. And it’ll all be good stuff.

I’m not doing it in alphabetical order, but the songs are listed in alphabetical order by band name and I usually spend more time ranking the songs at the top than I do the ones at the bottom. At the point I just have a few Agents songs to rank and then I’ll be done with all the A’s. There sure are a lot of B’s though….
A couple of friends recommended the Agents to me and they’ll be dissapointed. I’m not really a huge fan. I like my ska to be fun and full of energy, but they play a lot of slower stuff, almost more like regae. They have some decent songs, but most of their stuff is getting 2 stars. Which means those songs are getting booted from the computer.
I have about 15 gigs of music and I have to trim it down. The only way to do this? Rank every single song with the star ratings on Itunes and delete all the 1 and 2 star songs. I’m about a quarter of the way done. The rest may take me a while.
