(What is RSS?)the weekend with my sister and her family. There was a carnival in downtown San Jose to keep my niece and nephew entertained – they rode all sorts of rides and went out on the ice rink.
I was one of the dignitaries at the launch. My entire job was saying “ooh” and “aah”, but according to my Niece and Nephew that was “Uncle Mark’s satellite” being launched :)

I submitted the last of the performance reviews and promotion packages one hour ago, so I can return to normal hours again. I’ll still be in the office tomorrow (Saturday), but on Sunday I am going to do something not-at-all work related.
and it is not really playing, but I have been working weekends and evenings for three weeks now, and will continue doing so for at least two more weeks, so tonight I am going to veg out and watch Survivor and CSI.
(of course being locked out of the building helped; the power was turned off for building maintenance so there wasn’t much I could do at the office anyway). I went for a hike and browsed through a bookstore. The first two days of the work week will be a company sponsered ski trip so they will count as play too.
by my choice. The metric for this goal will be either ‘only work one weekend per month’ or ‘only work one day per weekend’
(I am watching 80’s music videos on YouTube while I work thanks to someone’s goal. Right now I wanna to be a lifeguard I wanna guard your life.).
