allow a movie to make me cry

So apparently movies aren’t gonna cut it… but I had to get out the Kleenex for a two-minute YouTube clip just now. Go figure. I’m marking this goal off, for what it’s worth.

I almost cried at Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
I laughed until I cried at Little Miss Sunshine.
But for this goal I’m talking about actual, sad, tears going down my face CRYING. Maybe it shouldn’t have “sunshine” in the title. Hmmm.

In order for this to happen I have to be totally alone so I don’t have to worry about how daft I look or the other person thinks you are and then you have the capacity to really let go. The one that did it for me big time was ‘Truly, Madly, Deeply’ with Alan Rickman in. It is a fantastic film and great for a weepy but really sent me over when I watched it!

The other was Bridges over Madison County. However the book had actually made me cry so it was not surprising when the film did. I do believe I made a huge tactical error watching it when I was 11 weeks pregnant – all those hormones did not help!
