roadtrip with no destination

Started with only about $300 a piece (in 2002) and lived out of the car and a tent. Got odd jobs here and there for money for gas and more food. We came back with about the same money as we left with. One of my best memories.

spent a week with a friend just driving holistic (find a car that look friendly, then follow it until you hit somewhere interesting or run out of gas) and sleeping in the car on parking lots. We started in denmark, but got to see a lot of germany, most of it from the freeway going by at 210 km/H, went unknowingly illegally into, and thankfully out of, “tjekkiet” (Tczek Republic? what’s it called in english?), and would have made it into poland if only we hadn’t hit a “pedestrians only” border crossing bridge ^_ Definitely something I’ll have to do at least once a year!

We just drove ALL over the place the last week or so. I also interviewed for a summer job in Winter Park, Colorado!!! This was definitely worth it, for the fellowship of my friends and for my self.
