Such a beautiful film, so tragic and sad but at the same time incredibly enchanting and just… beautiful. Don’t know what else to say about it. Might actually consider buying this DVD.

That creature that didn’t have eyes was definitely creepy. Wouldn’t want to have any of his grapes. O _ o

(I wonder if it’s possible to bash someone’s nose in with a bottle? I seriously hope not, it looked really horrible. D:)

I’ve been wanting to see this movie for so long!
I wonder when I’m finally going to see it. :D I’ve been close to buying it a couple of times, but sadly I can’t afford to buy movies randomly without knowing if I really like them or not.
I might try to rent this some day~ shouldn’t be too difficult. :D

I liked this movie a lot not only because it’s visually stunning but also because it’s main characters are “good guys” but yet flawed, and while there is a generally a clear-cut distinction between real good and real evil, the characters are often put in situations where they must make hard choices that cause you to question what really is good and what really is evil. While the main idea of this film is not original (i.e. a child finding comfort from a world gone mad by means of some fantasy land), this film is refreshing in a lot of ways. For instance, it has a completely different perspective on what the faun (mythological half goat and half man creature) is and what is its purpose than what I’ve seen in any other movie with fauns. It was also fascinating that the backdrop of story was the Spanish civil war occuring around the time of World War II.

I loved this movie.. so good, very dark. I have been a huge Brian Fround fan for years and it was wonderful to see creatures based of his work. Well done and worth seeing! Not for small children.

I saw this last night. It is a very good movie. worth seeing.
