do my own website

Well I already have a wordpress blog, updating that more regularly will have to be another goal to add to list.
Want to learn how to create my own website using css.

I’m currently learning dreamweaver. I’m hoping to add as many advanced features as I can and I’m also going to try and learn to make flash animations. I have a domain name and I am going to run it off a server at home. I’m not going to keep this website up all the time, but it is just for learning. I’ll probably put a blog too.

I had been wanting to do a website to promote my art for several months. I had no experience designing a website and was very intimidated by the thought of it, but couldn’t afford to hire someone to do it. So I dove in, used customizable templates on the free hosting site that came with my internet service, bought a domain name and after a week of revisions and tweeking I have a pretty decent looking site. I even found that I like doing it and will be helping my sister set up her business website this week. Now I would like to learn html and do one from scratch, eventually do web design on a freelance basis.
