Give my parents a significant gift

If I get this new job I am going for. Fingers crossed. By going for this job I can also tick the “taking a risk” box too.

I’d really love to fly my mum to the great barrier reef and take her snorkelling. A few obstacles stand in the way of this-namely her disability. I don’t know how she’d handle the flight or the sleeping arrangements. However I think this will be the plan one day in the future. I’m not so sure what to give my dad. He doesn’t really like “things” he is a simple guy. His suggestion for a Christmas present was socks. So, I think I will opt for an experience type of present.
