plan a holiday

Planning fun things can seem counterintuitive, but just the right amount of planning i.e. not too much, makes it more fun. You don’t to think too much when it’s happening that way, but leave enough room for spontaneity.

You also get the right balance of types of holiday e.g. one crazy fun one, one lazy one, one expensive one, etc.

I’m not just going to plan a single holiday, but a series of holidays for the year.

Fail to prepare, prepare to fail!

i havent been in years so i think its time i saved up and got away for a while….

I went here with my friend. Her family were warm and lovely and amazing cooks ( even if they did stuff me with ridiculous quantities of food)

We went to the beach and laid in the said. It was wonderful to feel the sand between my toes again and to have some sun beating down on me. i miss that.

The architecture of the centro historico was lovely, outside of that it was unimpressive.

The holiday was wonderful and relaxing and I’m glad that I went.

Hooray for me!! I am going to Italy on the Adriatic coast with my friend Simona for 5 days. Really looking forward to it. :)))

This could be super fun. I just have to see how much time I can get off. I would love to do at least a week of it. Need to talk to her to see if that would be ok.

My friend Judy just called up and said that we should jet off to Puerto Rico for a few weeks, which would be awesome. Would love to hang out with her and some of her fun guy friends on the beach for three weeks and relax.

I might go on holiday with simona to the Italian coast for a feew days.

Will be so nice. I need a tan and to relax!!

I got a letter from the flight/car hire people on Friday (www.travelcitydirect.com – I’d highly recommend them). Unfortunately, it was only to remind me to make the final payment. So I have now paid for the flights and car hire in full. I have written the cheques for the villa (must remember to post them). Now, all I have to do is buy attraction tickets (after deciding which ones I want) and book the airport hotel and car parking. It’s all happening.

I booked our villa for the holiday in February. I’m getting very excited. I had a chat via MSN with my sister while I was sorting it out. I’m so looking forward to seeing her. I think we’re about as excited as each other.
