Currently, going through the classic texts from Tom Apostle dealing with calculus and linear algebra. 1200 pages and some pretty dense stuff but the guy presents the material really clearly. I would be really glad if I could finish the two volumes.
Also, need to brush up on linear and non-linear optimization theory in preparation for my doctorate but that is not happening for another couple of months.

Found this great site for detailed notes on college maths

I have set myself 2 months to go through a lot of material. I have to stop procrastinating and get to it. This way I can meet two of my goals :)

I have met my goal for math. I have been trying to test into Math 111 at my college, and I had just about given up on making it in. I have not taken any math in 3 years, so I had a lot to review. The day before I had scheduled my test I gave up, thinking that there was no point in studying anymore because I would not be able to do it. So I still took the placement test, hoping only to test into Math 95, the class below it. BUT I GOT INTO 111!!!! It was such a boost to my self-esteem! I am so thankful.
