Do things occasionally that take me out of my comfort zone

lessons… here I come!! Starts at the beginning of November.. can’t wait! :)

tournament with a client.. this is definitely out of my comfort zone, but something that I have agreed to do. I just hope it goes well and no one gets hurt!! :)

I heard that Chaco’s were really comfortable and while I was at REI today, I tried a pair on. I don’t think I have ever paid that much for a pair of shoes (much less sandals).. it was definitely outside my comfort zone to spend that much money. I don’t usually treat myself, but today I did!! The are very comfy and have lots of great support.. much better then my $3.00 flip flops.

Just finished up 5 weeks of golfing lessons with some friends… talk about out of my comfort zone! I’m a tennis player… hitting the ball on the ground just doesn’t make sense and after 5 weeks of lessons, I still can’t hit the ball. Oh well… it was fun to “try” to learn something new. I think I’ll be saving a lot of money on greens fees!

I have taken a bellydancing class already, but there are 5 other friends who are interested, so we may all take a class together. I think it would be fun with a bunch of girlfriends… we’ll see who actually signs up to do it!

On our cruise last week, I did karaoke with group of friends….certainly out of my comfort zone to be in front of a couple hundred people singing!! Singing in the shower is one thing, on stage is quite another :)

Ok.. I thought my bellydancing class was out of the comfort zone…this is definitely out there… saw the story on the news tonight.. a studio has opened up in the area. Have always wanted to try it…might have to check it out!
