He’s is trustworthy, caring, passionate, centered, down-to-earth, generous, hard-working, lovable, hilarious, loves me for me, comfortable with me, tells me he loves me all the time, understands me, has my sense of humor, puts up with me, acts a lot more mature than me most of the time, gives me roses, buys me things, wants what is best for me, makes me feel better, cheers me up, loves to cuddle, is a good kisser, great in bed, tells me his feelings, writes me love letters, and gives me all the attention I need. 5 years ago

He is organized, practical, artistic, faithful, generous, goes after what he wants, is a great cook, loves dogs, and plays guitar like a god. 5 years ago

It’s been 4 weeks, and I still haven’t started that journal. Next time I go to CVS (or somewhere else I could get it), I commit myself to getting at least one notebook/binder for this, and one for writing more. 6 years ago

I haven’t known this person for that long, maybe 2 years, and in that time I suppose I haven’t really got to know her that well. But I do find myself admiring her in many ways. She has incredible empathy. She can understand what someone is feeling and isn’t afraid to feel it too. I’ve never really heard her talk about her own problems, she’s quite guarded in that way, but she’d always be there to listen to your problems and understand where you’re coming from. She can see things from every angle. She cares a lot about her friends and family and just people in general. She puts others people before herself. She’s very generous. She is very confident and seems to know what she believes. She’ll question your morals and philosophies (and her own) despite the fact that she might agree with you just to make you consider other views. She can argue any point, from any angle. She has an amazing capacity to understand every situation. 6 years ago

I think I’m going to try to do this by getting a notebook, and writing in big letters on the front: “Are you mad?” That can be the book for whatever I like about people I know. One page per person, with the ability to add pages.

(This also makes me feel motivated to get going on connecting friends to joys on Daily Joys so I can look at more specific good times easily) 6 years ago

Steph is vibrant, she has so much energy and is always having fun. She is passionate, some might call it obsession but I think its passion. She loves helping people, listening to their problems and giving them advice. She is very honest, she’ll tell you her life story within 5 minutes of meeting her, if your interested. When she meets people, its like she’s know them forever. She is so nice to the people she meets. Everyone loves Steph; she is so much fun. I love the memories I have with Steph; all the fun we’ve had. She has stuck by me, and me by her for so long; despite differences we might have. She believes in so much, I love her interpretation of the world around her. I love talking to her about anything; we struggle to go a couple of days without talking to each other.

I love her, she’s so awesome. I hope our friendship can stand the test of time. 6 years ago

Lisa is my older sister, and the best friend I’ve ever had. I am most comfortable when I am around her, and she is the only person I’m truly open with. I know she doesn’t judge me and that she’ll love me no matter what. We can be silly together and often laugh until we cry about silly things no-one else would get. She understands me better than I do myself. She’s always there to lend advice or a shoulder to cry on. She gives fantastic advice, in the past my friends, who don’t really know her, have gone to her with there problems and come out better for it. I don’t make horrible mistakes because she is there to tell me when I might do something I’ll regret. She’s so kind and sweet, I honestly don’t think she’s had an evil thought in her life. She’d never hurt anyone if she could help it. She cares about everyone. She loves all of her friends. She’s passionate, knows what she disagrees with and isn’t afraid to say something. She is honest and knows herself. She is so strong.

She is the most important person in my life. I love her and I couldn’t live without her. 6 years ago
