How to celebrate the people who were a real support to me in a difficult time
It made me 
"Realising interconnections is crucial."
How I did it: I tried to remember and record ways that I offered support to those who had been an emotional support to me in trying times. It's salutory that the opportunity to support others transpired in quite unexpected ways.
Lessons & tips: Sieze the moment at the time when it arises rather than create artificial opportunities.

with my ex-ex boss who is now really a business partner, and some friends,at her home. We all had a good laugh and a pleasant random chat.

celebrated 1 year as business partners on 1 October. Long may our association last and flourish.
She was an outstanding support to me at ‘that place’.

21.My mother is not doing well

Since she had a heart attack last year in September, she has never been the same. Her energy levels have diminished and she hasalso been diagnosed with an underactive thyroid, so her lower lip quivers constantly.
She is feeling ‘odd’ today, and really exhausted. But she does not want to go to the doctor.
How can I support her?

I helped this group of three BEE trainers to get up and running as a training provider. I have not been paid for the work as they are struggling to get enough work to cover costs – but I see this as a longterm and redress arrangement.
Their need for me came at a crucial time for me when I had lost confidence.

I am feeling very angry, frustrated, annoyed and quite upset about VERY late payments for a project.
My partner is also upset.

My mother

I am not hugely emotionally close to my mother, but we have a very cordial relationship and she is veyr supportive,albeit in a bit of a sentimental way.
However, I do appreciate her innate kindness and goodness. She has not been well – has not bounced back vigorously form a heart attack last year.
She is going an a holidaywith two friends, so I gave her some spending money to indulge herself.

I hope that I am supporting my lovely ex- ex- boss (No, NOT from THAT place).
We have been through so much – and I am now trying to assist her while she is feeling a bit low.
I sincerely hopw thta my support is not facile or sentimental, but real and where it matters most.
I would lie down on a railway track for her.
