How I did it: i went over and asked her if she wanted help with her suitcase, and she smiled and said no thank you. i said i loved her music and she said thank you. then i asked if i could have a hug and she said of course.

it was cuddly and snuggly and it was from kimya.

Lessons & tips: just go and DO it, she'll be lovely.

    I'VE HUGGED KIMYA DAWSON 19 months ago

    About a month ago my brother and I went to see her play at the Gillman in Berkeley. She is so incredibly nice. Not at all like I was expecting her to be. The audience crowded onto the stage and sat at her feet while she played. It was absolutely wonderful. Definitely one of the best shows I’ve been to. Afterwards she walked around and talked to people. My brother shoved me up to her. I stumbled and stammered like a moron but she was really sweet to me. She’s fantastic.
