We call them TERROR ists for a reason for the terror they incite. If the real weapon was a bomb, they’d be called bomb-ists.
The absurd events of January 30, 2007 show just how freaked out the government that is supposed to protect us is. I’m not a bomb expert, and never claim to be, but one look at the “device” that was found in Cambridge MA makes me wonder how effective the training in the Department of Homeland Security and the Boston Police Department is. From my vantage point, the “device” looks like a really bad Lite-Brite version of Sponge Bob.
What makes the story even more absurd is how, instead of admitting they over-reacted, the government has bullied the two men who posted the ads and made them out to be criminals. For once, can’t an American governmental agency grow a set of balls and admit they goofed instead of beating up on the little guy?
