turn off my lights and other electrical stuff for 5 minutes on Feb. 1 at 7:55 p.m. (local time)as part of the alliance for the planet's global signal to policy makers

I got an email and then checked it out on the website at http://www.climatecrisiscoalition.org/
It’s a 5-minute global turn-off of elctricity, to signal policymakers who are currently meeting in France to discuss
climate change that people are interested, aware and care about doing something.

I didn’t originally think I could do this, as I wasn’t planning on being home, but I’m home this evening and planning to turn all the electricity off for 5 minutes at 7:55 p.m. I hope lots of people around the world participate in this.
