How to learn flute
How I did it: buy a flute, find a teacher, devote some time daily.
there are also enough online resources available which help you develop the skill. Rest is practice

The flute I am using will be in the shop for the next two weeks (it just needs a simple set-up), so I will won’t get to play until then. Hopefully this won’t counteract the progress I have made recently.
I started 2 weeks ago. I don’t think my tone is very good, and I get a bit dizzy if I try to play for more than 45 minutes or so. Luckily I live with a flute player though, and she is very encouraging.
The fingerings are pretty easy so far, and I can almost play a C scale from low to middle C already.
Reading music, and playing clarinet for many years is probably a help, but I may eventually need to get a teacher to help me sort out my flute embouchure.
This is a fun instrument to be learning, though I wish I could come up with at least an hour a day (per instrument) to practice drums, guitar, clarinet, and flute.

Completed this goal 14 years ago in Mr. Petrucelli’s band. And in highschool, Mr. Randazzo was the best teacher ever!!! He has definitely influenced my teaching philosophy. I still play my flute today, often with my friend Ashley since she is on the same level as me. And of course, by coincidence, we both purchased the same green bamboo flutes, at the same time (only we were both 6 hours apart and had no idea…) So we play those together too. Hopefully I can acquire some students for lessons, because it is a great instrument and an even better experience when you are in a duet.
I’ve played flute for about seven years now—all through middle/high school, in other words. I don’t regret it a bit =]. Flute can be a beautiful instrument.
Now if only I could get over my insane, irrational fear of playing in front of people =[.
the flute is the most beautifu instrument that I ever heard. I really like it and my wish is to learn how to play it. I heard that it is realy hard to learned. Is that true?
Since small, I wanted to learn piano. But now at this age, I guess playing piano is difficult. Flute would be nice I think. Now start to save to get myself a flute.
