The 4 Hour Work Week talks about making more time for yourself by outsourcing menial tasks to virtual assistants. It’s a great idea, and one that I’ve finally acted on. I’ve contacted a Virtual Assistant company in Bangalore, India, and gave them their first assignment. It’s a research project due in 48 hours, so hopefully they’ll deliver. Need to get comfortable delegating…

I met a bunch of guys who have read the book, The Four Hour Work Week, and who are interested in meeting regularly to work through the book and start our own businesses selling products online. So this will be a step in the right direction.

I’ve been working in corporate america since 1995…I’m envious of the folks that have ditched the corporate lifestyle and are pursuing their dreams. For now though, I haven’t been able to find a way out. It can be discouraging. I hope I’ll find the answer sometime soon.

I just wrote an entire entry about my current job creeping up in corporate-ness.
Not going to re-write!
Just have to do this again.

Been away now for just about a month! I saved up a years take home and am taking the summer off. It takes some time to kill about 20 years of management and corporate BS from your head. Now I can focus on my coaching practice and do other worthwhile endeavors. Ahhh…

The life was being sucked out of me to the point where I was physically ill! I was going into work everyday with knots in my stomach – at 35 years-old I was diagnosed with diverticulitis. (easy explanation, an ulcer in my large intestine due to stress)
I said, “No more! I’m not living like this!”
It can be done. My experience was that it was an addictive cruel world. I got out.
I opened my heart and took a giant leap. Focusing on what I love really helps. Not putting my faith in money is key.
I realize(d) that I know what’s best for my heart and soul; my body and my spirit have been telling me my whole life. It’s about tuning in and listening.
Yeah, what do I love and what makes me happy? I ask myself that everyday.

Car the rhythm of my heart is beating like a drum...
Thank you to those who were concerned. I have been walking every day at high-intensity for approx 2 wks and NO HEADACHES. I’m convinced there was something out there that I was extremely allergic to. Sooooo. This goal is back on!!!

Car the rhythm of my heart is beating like a drum...
I developed a problem last year. I was on a major exercise kick. Was getting fit, really enjoying my workouts. Then about a month or so in, I started to develop absolutely excruitating headaches after I would finish my walk. Not during. About 10-15 minutes after. It would be so bad that I would be incapacitated and often crying in pain. So I stopped.
Well I would periodically try the walks again. Usually it was alright. I was apprehensive though because it’s just the worst kind of headache.
Well, I have tried over the last 3 months to get back into it again, but I am constantly hit with these headaches that are utterly unbearable.
Sooooo, how am I going to train someone when I cannot even do a basic walk. Now granted when I walk, I haul ass, but still it’s a basic thing. I just am questioning the viability of this goal.
It really upsets me.
