read fast food nation

This book seriously changed my life.

this book is amazing. it’s a little dry at first when he’s discussing the history of the fast food industry and such, but when he actually goes into the meat-packing plants and everything…it scared the carnivore out of me. i haven’t eaten meat (except fish) since i read it almost two years ago.

this book also goes well with the film “super size me”, and morgan spurlock actually interviews eric schlosser (sorry if that’s wrong, i usually get it wrong) in one of the bonus thingies. it’s pretty nifty.

Well worth it – I may give it back to the charity shop now… A really interesting and well researched book.

Thought I’d give myself an easily attainable goal :) I’ve wanted to read this book for ages, and found it last week in a charity shop. I’m about half way though, and if I was a person that ever ate fastfood (do chips count?) I would be feeling very manipulated right now. As it is, I’m just incensed…

I just bought the book, but it will be some time before I read it, unfortunaletly.
