About 106 days ago I decided that I wanted to run a mile everyday for 30 days. I loved it so much I haven’t stopped.
How to run a mile every day
How I did it:
I intently kept my focus on the end result, the reward. I would embrace the pain and look forward to a nice cool shower and leaving the gym feeling great, and I mean great!!
Lessons & tips: Coming up with the courage to start is the difficult part. Even more difficult than starting is the follow-through commitment and discipline to keep it going. The best advice I can give is to not "think" too much about it, but just oneday get yourself out there and DO it. You just need to get mad enough at yourself. Also, make it a fun thing to go buy some running gear...get really into it and sooner or later you will be thanking and loving yourself.
Resources: Proper nutrition, treadmill.

I need to improove my mile time so I can pass gym class so I ran a mile everyday for two weeks. Then I ran again in class and the time I got was 30 seconds MORE than when I had before I started training. I felt discouraged and stopped trying. What’s the use?? I feel hopeless. What am I doing wrong?
So far I have managed to keep this going. I started a few days before the New Year to see if I could do it. I broke both patellas and my right femur in 2001 and so far haven’t had any pain since starting. I have also been kettlebell training 3 days a week and I think the muscle I have built has helped me a lot. I hope I can keep this up.
well because of busy life schedule and taking a night class I have not been doing this.Im not giving up though. I have all intentions of trying tom morning after I take my kids to school. TBC

I really want to run every day to gain endurace for swim team next year, and not only that but to become healthier. I’m always lazy and sitting aroud watching television or something super-unprodutive like that. I really want to change that. Hopfully, if I can master runing one mile every day, I can graduate to running two miles everyday.
Wish me luck!

Well, I ran a mile yesterday and it felt pretty good. Can’t wait until it gets easier and I can comfortably run 3-4 miles. I walked for about 20 mins. after the run. Going on run #2 today!

But I have a track right by our house, so shouldn’t be too difficult to do.
