Be a Big Sister for Big Bros/Big Sisters

an interview in about a week to be a big sister! I am so excited!

I’m (officially) a Big Sister in the program, now waiting for a match.

I went to the training last night—now I’m waiting for a match. Again, this is an excellent program. I joined because I can’t stand the idea that some kids never get a chance, and are basically doomed since birth. I want to help give someone the freedom to choose among different ways to live.

I interviewed today, and need to set up a training later this summer. Then, I will receive a match.

This is such a great program. I get to actually develop a relationship with the kid and be a consistent role-model—way more satisfying than other work I’ve done.

I applied, now I just have to schedule an interview and start meeting with a “Little”!
