get my nose re-pierced

I had mine pierced for a long time and for a messed up reason I took it out,, and that was like a month ago and now I want it back!! My birthday is coming up in a few weeks I think I will do it then.

I had my nose pierced a few years back, and the man put in a screw instead of a stud. So when I went to change it out, I couldn’t. I had scar tissue from the screw rubbing against it, and it was too painful to put one back in. So I had to let it close up. But I miss it. I think it is time to get it re-pierced.

Oh I finally did it. My previously mentioned girlfriend and I went to Chapel Hill one weekend back in October, I was a little under the weather and one of our favorite local bands had a show, so we got my nose pierced and then went to the show. It made me happy in that moment and actually it still does :) It looks totally rockin and I’ve really been enjoying it. I’m glad I finally did it. Now I just have to get the jewelry changed. Maybe that should be a new 43 things goal. I took this photo the night it was done, that’s why it’s so red an angry.

I finally did it. I got this fabulous opal nose ring set in white gold. The piercer was great and kept me calm. When I had it pierced years ago, i was with a gun, but this time it was with the needle and barely hurt.

I am glad that I finally did it.

OK. Finally. This is the day. I am taking myself to NY Adorned (www.nyadorned.com) and getting a fabulous nose piercing. I have no idea why I have not done this yet.

Instead of getting my nose pierced, I spent the day at a whole bunch of doctor’s appointments for my daughter. And to top it all of, it rained like a mo-fo—all day!

Maybe this piercing thing isn’t in the cards for me.

I have been saying this for too damn long. My birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks and I am not the one for big expensive gifts. I told my hubby that I want my nose pierced for my birthday and he said “cool.”

In 16 days, I hope to move this goal into the completed pile.

Is it because I am lazy? Scared? Ugh. I need to get my butt ot of the house, away from wrk, and get it done.

A friend of mine just had her nose re-pierced there. She says that it came out really well. As soon as I get rid of this head cold, my new nose stud will be my graduation gift to myself. Tally Ho!
