Lucky this Past Winter

My last cold was in August 2008. I got it while traveling by air to Alaska. I think that’s when I caught the cold. The trip in Alaska was eight days, and I started getting sick on the fourth day, a little tickle in my throat. I managed to stave off the full-blown cold symptoms until the day of departure. I was miserable on the plane ride home and for about a week after returning.
This past winter I did not get a cold. I’ve had bad colds in April, but with this month almost done, I’m in the clear.
Yay!
