Iceland is ranked 3rd in best places to live on Earth!
I currently live in Australia and it’s ranked 2nd. No i’m not crazy, Australia is full of bogans and we’re so American pop culture infested.
I would miss Masterchef, though.

live in iceland in a nice red house, to wake up in the morning watching snow falling trought the window listening sigur ros and enjoying a cup of coffee in the couch, that sounds great to me..
i have icelandic family im going to university there and eventually moving there, hopefully kopavogur, i like it there :)
might be going to iceland just for a visit this december for a few days. rejkyavik and maybe some surrounding areas depending on whats available with the winter weather. im trying to learn icelandic online and thats proving interesting. i found some audiobooks but i havent tried them yet. we’ll see how good they turn out to be.
I don’t much about the country, but northern European countries seem to have some mysterious beauty to them. I think that the landscapes it has to offer seem too good to not visit at least once in one’s life time. Hopefully in the next ten years I will spend a healthy amount of time, and may even call it a permanent home. Better put on some Björk!
I just lived there for a month, so I’m not sure that counts. I did work though, gardening, picking rocks and working in a store. It’s the only foreign country I’ve lived in where I actually got to work.
Great place. The food is excellent.
One highlight was picking rocks on this red mountain. I felt like I was the only person who had even been on it.
I got to experience 24 hour daylight. That’s a great sensory treat!
Visited it for a day in 2005, beautiful city. Would love to live there, although I can imagine the cold getting quite bothersome at some point!
