It’s 5 years of training ahead… But at least I feel like I’m going somewhere.
Melpomene_Athena Is done with Exams!
This is something I’ve wanted to do for as long as I remember. Not only is psychology interesting but I get to help people. People like me, people worse off than me.
But this is also why I won’t go see a doctor. What if I’m not allowed to become one because I’ve had to see a psychologist myself?
Lol, I suppose it’s true though, you can’t get doctors to see a doctor. Though I’m not a doctor…. yet :P.
After Uni I wanna get into the NHS course… but only 30% of people get in, and I know I’ll not be the best.
And then I’d want a psyd also.
It’s gunna take years, but I wanna do it.
And I’m still full of doubts as to my capability ><.
Have finished a degree in Psychology and am currently doing a masters by research. Hopefully finished in a few months but my supervisor (a clinical psychologist) makes me dread going into work everyday – He’s so hard to deal with. Determined to make it through though!

People (in general) have no idea the amount of time it takes to get this degree and become licensed.

And after the degree:
1. Get needed postdoc supervision
2. Take and pass licensure exam
Met with Mr. H today; I might be helping him come up with an Animal Behaviors syllabus for a future high school class?
Getting my BA in Psychology at Stanford. This will be my last year. I need to organize my classes for next year.
