Well, I was in a Guitar class, but I dropped out…/: XD I think I need to just take it slow. And procrastinate.
How to learn the guitar
How I did it: I kind of taught my self. Just writing songs and trying different things each time. Singing and playing with others has increased my confidence 10 fold. Not that I do it enough. I'll have to make that another goal.

I borrowed a guitar from my sister’s boyfriend and tried to learn it. I picked up a few chords right away and then learned some more and then some more. My knowledge of the piano helped when it came to what chords go with each other and how to play a minor chord after learning a major chord. I learned fast but there was no passion. I mean, there was passion but it was in the fact that I was playing music. I had no passion for the guitar itself. The piano just makes sense to me. I can hear how it should work. Finger placement makes sense. The movement of it. The rhythm of it.
So, I’m not going to spend time learning the guitar anymore. It is a wonderful instrument but it just isn’t the one that clicks with me. The piano clicks.
Oh well…. what’s next on my list?
sooo i got my guitar in august, and basically so far i can only do chords and basically strum, but a plus note i have learned oasis’s wonderwall, sea of love, and paramore – the only exception, whilst im making my way onto a mouldy peaches song. Ill do some riffs eventually ….. :D

Well, there’s not much I can do with this goal until I actually own a guitar. =) Until then I’ll just look through my Fender Guitar Chords book and dream.
How much is an acoustic guitar? Couple hundred? About the price of an iPod?
I guess step one is to put aside a little money here and there, throw some Christmas and birthday money in the mix and save, save, save.

I started this one a while ago, so I already have a nice accoustic guitar, and a rudimentary knowledge of the guitar. Now, I’ll probably add in additional goals that fit under the ultimate banner of this goal, like, finish this guitar teaching book.
I took a few guitar lessons during uni, and actually learnt a few songs, then exams started and the guitar string broke – and I haven’t touched the guitar since. That was over 8 years ago! Need to start it up again.

I already know how to read music and play woodwinds. Why not expand??
ataralas is here again.
I’ve been falling behind in my practicing. Bad Ataralas, no biscuit.
