Yeah, that’s what I need.
I seriously have no effort.
And obviously this goal isn’t important enough to me to have the tipping point of effort, the right amount to get started.
I don’t know how to get effort,
But I don’t want to force myself either.

Marisa1983 is becoming more hopeful that the week will end, eventually.
Why is that, in nearly every area of my life, I have the ability to be ultra-creative, but when it comes to doing something new/exciting/fun/etc., I am lacking in ideas? For example, last night, I couldn’t think of anything to do, and when a tube of super glue decided to explode all over my hands, I decided that “Trying to get super glue off of my skin” would be my new thing for the day. Pathetic. I know.
It’s like…on Friday, I locked myself out of my car (I am becoming more and more like my mom everyday, apparently), and “breaking into my car” became my new thing for the day. Although I must say, considering how many times I have locked myself out of my car, it is something that will come in handy, now that i have figured out how to break in!
So now, I face the challenge of purposely thinking of things to do, instead of allowing such craziness to befall my every-day life. I would prefer that my “new thing” everyday become something fun for the most part, instead of merely getting myself out of my Lucy Ricardo-like messes.

Yesterday, I explored some new options in healthcare, and the day before that, I learned to change a tire. Tonight, I am trying a new bar, tomorrow night, some friends and I are staying at Disneyland hotel, and I haven’t made a decision for Sunday yet, but I should be able to come up with something good (that does NOT involve the Super Bowl).

I know i am not Chinese, but I actually coincidentally made this resolution on Chinese New Year instead of the regular old American New Year. So far, I have been doing this for 3 days, but it is not nearly as easy as I thought it would be. I started out with something simple that didn’t require any money spent or actually physically going anywhere (journaling), and tonight, I am learning how to change a tire. Hopefully I will start getting a little more creative so I can actually have some fun, but I think you need to have money to be able to do a lot of the things I want to do!

I think having a list of over 30 things to do is trying something new so I am going to focus on those individual goals instead.

Something that I always wanted to do, but didn’t know how. Found a site that lets you create your own, free blog. It can be private, or public. I don’t know about having a private journal online. I think I’ll leave that stuff for my paper journal….
