be a kid

I have always wondered when I was little why grownup stop playing?
My little kid comes out all the time. She Re-Minds me to stay in innocents, to look at everything in Wonder, to run and play on the swings and go down the slide, climb a tree and be free. Laughter and smiles and twinkle in my eye.

I have held on to being a child long enough, I am moving on to more grown up and mature things! I will never let go, or forget! about my inner child. I am still young! I am still a kid! But I should just be a kid, and not focus on being one, if you know what I mean. This goal will always be in my heart, but really this goal is silly! I will be a kid at heart forever! But now it’s time to let this goal go.

its so weird, i did everything i could to not get thrown into grown up land, and now that ive made this goal im feeling more and more like its okay to grow up in a sense. im ready for the next step, maybe. we’ll see.

I’m not growing up any faster than I have to! Thats that!
