...to go!
My hair is officially long right now, bit in 2 more inches, I expect it to be officially at the middle of my back!
I am going for a trim this week to rid myself of the dead ends, but I am thinking that by summer, my hair will be gloriously long and lovely! :)

My friend Emily once told me that using hot products (i.e. hair dryer, curling iron…) hurts the process of growing out one’s hair. Very true.
I have not been blow drying my hair for a while now, trying to make sure that I treat my hair very carefully.
However, when I don’t style my hair with a blow dryer or straight iron, it looks like cr@p. :(
Oh well…the price one pays for healthy hair…

Apparently, the RDA for protein is 50g! I never knew that before. So, now I am paying extra attention to ensure I get at least 50g of protein per day. I have a large glass of water by my bed right now that I need to drink (hydration is key!). I’m taking biotin, gelatin, vitamin c, and a prenatal. Anything else?

As a semi-veg (no red meat), getting protein is hard. But- I found some great ways to increase my protein intake- Greek Yogurt!!! Fage contains about 14g of protein…and I add nuts into the yogurt which makes it even more protein rich!
I am also making sure I sleep enough which is suppose to help with growth. And water intake….
Any other ideas to grow are welcomed!!! :)

So, in reading about hair growth, many articles indicated that protein in one’s diet is very important! Being a psuedo-vegetarian, this is already difficult, but I am working it out.
I’m taking a conscious effort to ensure that my daily protein intake is at or above the recommended amount. I am including protein bars, Greek yogurt, nuts, beans, and chicken in my daily diet.
Do I need more that 50gms/day???

It’s getting longer…not at my goal length, but making progress. I’m trying NOT to blow dry my hair in the morning to avoid damage, taking solid vitamins, and trying to increase my protein. Any other ideas are appreciated!!!
