learn finger-picking

A self-taught player (who just can’t be arsed), I’ve been playing for quite a while (guitar, bass), but technically I’m a lousy player.
I am pretty quick at learning new songs; I reckon I’m alright at songwriting, arranging and whatnots (even if I say so myself), but my skill really leaves something to be desired. So yeah, this is one of my resolutions for the year 2008.

I started teaching myself to play guitar almost 15 years ago. I always played with a pick and mostly strummed chords because that’s what’s easy for me. And I love it. I’ve always wanted to be able to play with my fingers, though, like a folk guitarist. So, I’ve been working on that for a couple of months. It’s going well even though it’s hard and I have practically no guidance. I’m not ready to declare this a fulfilled goal, though.
