every shower with only cold water

The daily shower is with only cold water since Feb 2007.
Now it is difficult because it is winter

It’s just coming up to winter where I am and I find it hard to get under the cold water when I am already cold. I got to about 3 days, then I just couldn’t convince myself it was worth it.

I find it hardest getting under the water. So, to get started I might try starting with warm water till I am all wet then switching to cold.

....it’s been a full year of cold showers only. I’ve loved it and will continue, probably for life.

Probably saved many gallons of oil, and frankly it feels great to me.

Feels very refreshing, but sometimes hard on cold days. Tried a couple of weeks ago and got a cold :(

Going to try again starting this week, actually – in 5min.

It was easy in summer
Now the temperature is decreasing I will be more difficult

It is very good to increase my self discipline.
It is not very difficult to do it once but it is difficult to do at all times.
I think it is like to stop smoking it is difficult but it is great
It is a challenge as not a lot of people do that. If I do that a long time it will be one exploit of my life.
I continue.

It is a good idea to have a cold shower outdoor.
It is easy to have one if you live in a house but it is impossible in a flat.
I had a cold shower last Christmas in London at Hampstead Heath Ponds before and after swimming in the pond.
