I’ve been mildly depressed lately. It occurs at certain times of day. Eg. I feel very optimistic in the morning but between 3pm and 7pm I get quite depressed. so I’m going to change my diet for 30 days and see if it makes a difference. The rules are:
No caffeine (Oh lord)
No more than one fast food meal a week
No microwaved meals
Eat some raw fruit and veg everyday
Take vitamin B tablets when I get them
I’m off to go hunt down some fruit. (Starting goal on 23 Feb, ends on 24th March)
Worth doing!
But I don’t care. I am going to tick this goal off as completed. I am getting sick of seeing it here. Looking back over it I have had many good weeks… but not 30 perfect days. I think that I’ve done well enough. And what’s more important I am going to continue to eat well most of the time. I think that that’s good enough for me.
Worth doing!
I’m not perfect, but I have been consistently eating healthily. I’m just making healhier food choices. I have a nice little routine of cooking on Sunday afternoon – for the week. This has worked well for me in the past – because I am too hungry when I come home to cook properly – and this way it is all there and ready when I step through the door.
Worth doing!
Now that I am at my new job, and I have gotten into a routine I have nicely gotten into a healthy eating regime. I still have to factor in lunchtime meetings (what a pain) and lunches with colleagues – however I am trying to maintain some control by taking my lunch along with me.
I feel better, and I look better – so, I hope to continue this.
Worth doing!
It was a bit hard because I was taken out to lunch twice this week (because I started a new job). But other than that I’ve been eating healthily – and I am pleased.
Worth doing!
They’ve gone well. The first two days were quite difficult because I’d been used to eating poorly – so I found it hard to be sensible and to eat well. It’s early days but I am in the swing of it.
Three days down, 27 to go!
Worth doing!
Right. I am getting serious about getting some of these goals done, and off my list. Tomorrow I start, and I will make an entry every day to make sure I am keeping on track. This evening I cooked some brown rice to have in my lunch, and have defrosted some turkey for my dinner.
I will achieve this goal!
Worth doing!
Not a perfect week, however I have made some good choices – and I have eaten healthily every day. So – well done me!
Worth doing!
Honestly – this is a rather disruptive period in my life. I’m not normally this unable to stick to things. I’ll start again tomorrow.
