LucySkye is excited for her second semester.
Currently learning it’s functions, seeing as I just bought it. Be sure to read the manual!
How I did it: I saved up money, did babysitting and got a big chunk of money for my birthday to help me out! Just charging the battery right now and can't wait to use it!
Lessons & tips: Save save save!

It’s been my own little dream to own one ever since I first saw it in Best Buy. I’ve researched it and found its the best for the amateur photographer. Great definition, awesome pixel image and my personal favorite red eye reduction. And thats just what I know off the top of my head!

I’ve finally got myself to buy one of these, and have been busy playing with the different functions all day and of course thanks to a few webpages that has given me so much information. Now it’s time devoted to go out there and start snapping pictures.
I will be posting shots taken from my NEW D40 DSLR. ;)

I’ve decided to buy this model nikon d40, i’ve been reading alot of reviews from the different nikon range and i’ve decided this is the one for me. I especially like a certain webpage that a photographer has personally taken over 15,000 shots in his storage, and owns numerous models of nikons and cannons respectively. An in-depth reviews of Nikon D200, D80, D40, D40x, D70, Dx2 etc etc and a few cannon models. There are some elements of cannon cameras that are better than nikon and vice versa. Mega pixels count only when the picture is going to be blown up bigger than the standard portrait sizes. This particular model has only 6.1mp.
