    Walking around 2 years ago

    It’s easy to jump in the car and go. But I’m trying to pass it by more often and walk to drop off packages, attend meetings and go out for dinner. Sometimes I walk an extra block or two on may way to the office. Sometimes I walk to clear my head and consider my priorities. Sometimes that walking equires adding 20 minutes to my schedule.
    Still, those 20 minutes of walking have many benefits:
    -easy exercise
    -fresh air and the great outdoors
    -a chance to think
    -a connection (with people on the sidewalk or otherwise outside)
    -a whiff of freedom

    My next step is to buy a pedometer and to start strapping on the wrist weights I bought last weekend (unless I’m showing up for some business meeting).
