This time with my boyfriend, we biked and walked around and felt the smell of the trees. So revigorating, I even hugged a tree! Very good!

Alone! And it was good! because I took the time to apreciate nature, the trees, the sun, the sky, the kids playing… it was very nice, I even hugged a tree and felt the good energy. If I do this at least twice a month regularly, I’ll consider it done!

I think, if I go to the parkat least once a month, I’d consider it done. The trouble is going to the park once a month! I mean, should I go alone? My friends are always working, my bf too, so only weekends are left, but these late days are so cold (I live in Brazil), that I just give up the idea. I think this goal will be complete by the time spring comes!

Hi there,
I wanna be closer to nature too. I wanna live close to the beach surrounded by fruit trees, a coconut palm tree, an “uva playera” tree, lots of tropical fruit trees. Wonderful!

Yesterday, my social’s studies class went outside into the courtyard to study about Taoism. My social studies teacher talked about life and how human’s don’t seem to be a part of nature and enjoy it. Humans always have to find an answer to everything and not just let it be and let life fly. So yesterday I spent my time trying to get those little red termites off my butt and 10 minutes of pure relaxation and connection to the earth(Aka meditatin or maybe even a little sleeping.)
Went rafting on the Delaware. Sooooo beautiful and peaceful! Also, trying to get out for lots of walks to parks. Had a ‘picnic’ in the park one day … it drizzled but I stayed until it blew over. Really nice.
Aware of nature now and I take more notice of it around me, my eyes have been opened and I’m also looking at it from a new perspective asking “How can I use nature in my art?”
Got a big shot of nature on vacation … swimming in the ocean, waking up to it. Ahhh. It’s harsh coming back to the city. But we have nature here too – you just have to go after it.
The Boys had us up at 6.15 am and then by 7.00 am all pressies were opened and the house restored to order, they all went off to do their own thing, Ms 17 went back to bed, so after cooking the obligatory “Pancakes for Chrissie Morning” I went out and got a head start on the laying of the new pine mulch we brought, it was like a semi present to myself, if the front of the house looks good I feel better staying home.
The bloke came out and helped we got the front of the house done, which boarders the street and the side opposite the driveway. Had the cats out there trying to help, had a HUGE Black raven in the tree above me squawking away, so I’ve had my share of Nature for this Christmas morning, was out hanging washing on the line at 8.00am- chickens pecking at my colourful toes, while having a “coffee” break from the garden.
So now it’s 11.27 am, the Bloke has taken the boys to his Mother’s for Christmas and I’m home in my peaceful happy home, dogs asleep at my feet chickens laying out the back, The new Eagles CD I brought myself yesterday playing, and all is well with the world this Christmas day!
Merry Christmas everyone!
