Get rid of all my junk!

After a week of trying to find the energy to de-clutter the study – another two boxes to the bin, two to Lifeline and a whole heap of paperwork shredded. We ordered a new desk today as a reward for finally cleaning out this room. Feel like I am getting there slowly…

Well after two trips to the tip and to Lifeline the house is looking slightly less cluttered. It is amazing when you start how you just keep finding useless or unused items everywhere… I think I have gone a bit overboard I have cleaned out my wardrobe and arranged it by colour. I feel like I have so much more energy now but still a long way to go.

I have way too much stuff I don’t use or need. I don’t know how I have accumulated so much useless stuff! Anyway, this is my first goal so hopefully I can achieve it. Ebay here I come…

I made a challenge for myself that I would get rid of all my junk by my birthday or else I would throw it all away.

Well, I didn’t get rid of all my junk so now it’s all sitting in garbage bags on the curb. :)

It took me almost 3 months to do it, but it was definitely worth it. My room and the upstairs bedroom look great now! :D

A few years ago, I bought an arcade game on a whim and it’s just been sitting on our porch. I couldn’t get back even half of what I paid for it, so we decided to donate it to the Salvation Army.

I hope it will be going somewhere where it will not only be appreciated, but it will also give a little joy to someone.

Boy, I’ve got a lot of junk. I sorted through two totes full of stuff I don’t want today. I threw out a lot, and I have a bag of clothes I’m giving to the Salvation Army, but I have a lot of stuff that I want to put on eBay.

I put up two eBay auctions for my stuff today, and I still have a whole lot of other stuff to do. I’m going to get it all up on eBay by my birthday though, because if I don’t I told myself I’m just going to toss it all away. I never use the stuff I have, and it’s just going to waste.

Most of it is gone, and now that i have most of it gone, I know now not to let it build up!

Fity years of stuff, plus two kids plus donations from dead relatives. It is overwhelming. I need to clean house but what goes? The memories of children, grandparents, parents. It is hard. HELP

I threw away three bin bags of stuff this morning. Mostly old paperwork that I don’t need anymore. Some junk. Some random stuff.

Going to try and fill another bin bag today.
