well i started quite a bit today but not the main garden that i am leaving until my vacation in 5 days. But i did do the beds in front of my door with wild humming bird flowers. I planted two strawberry bushes and cleaned up the bed with all my bleeding hearts and planted some wildflowers in between. I planted to med size pots of some perennials and 4 smaller pots of flowers for the stairs. I planted two big pots with cheery tomatoes, and yellow baby tomotes 6 plants all together.
I did the side of the garage as my herb garden. I did lemon basil, sweet basil, 3x parsley, 2x rosemary, thyme, and banana peppers and baby chili peppers, i ran out for herbs so i need to go get 4 more packs…basil, mint, thyme, lavender.
I still have lots left thou, lol
I have the main garden which will contain three large tomote plants, radishes, green beans, yellow beans, peas, cucumbers, carrots, lettuce, onions and something else i can’t remember. Then i need to to do the front yard…not too sure what the plan is for that..i know i will do wildflowers for shady area around my tree and by the rock garden and on the left side of the house that doesn’t get much sun, I still have the front stair beds and the big bed in front of my window.

i thought i would post another pic of my garden so far. the tomatoes are doing good, i have a few baby tomatoes. the squash and zuchini have taken off and now have big yellow blossoms. my cucumbers have sprouted and are growing well, and a mystery potato plant just appeared! i think it was from the compost pile…
anyways, the ceyenne peppers aren’t so happy – i’m going to replace them with leeks and the carrots sprouted some but don’t seem to be growing very well so i won’t be planting carrots again.
all in all, the garden is coming along great. hows yours?

here’s the garden in it’s final configuration. the peas have come up, the cucumber is coming up, and the squash, zuchini, and onions seem to be happy. the okra and pepper plants don’t seem to be as happy for some reason…. to the back left are my tomato plants – well fondled :) hows yours going?
