    ...so far is going well. Hit the pavement last night after work, which was very cool. Intent is to hit it again tommorrow morning, then Thursday after work, but before I have to go speak at a high school. If tommorrow morning works, might skip Thursday and stick to Friday morning. One day at a time!!

    So…while Chicka is logging ten and fifteen mile weeks, I am at a whopping 3. Miles. Per week. Granted, some of my weeks have been cut short by Uncle Sam, but still most if that has been controllable. Working this week on getting up and getting out, establishing a sleep plan, so I can do that.

    I did 13 last week but this week I just took it easy… too easy.

    so we had to cancel… I tried the treadmill but I wasn’t feeling it :/

    When are they going to make a treadmill that feels like the real deal? Being outdoors is much more fun!

    Oh well, I’ll get back on it in a bit. :)

    I finally got off my tail and onto the road!! And, my back was feeling good, so all in all, a great thing. I think…think…that I can find a decent 3 mile loop around here where I live, which will help too. We’ll see. So far, I drive to campus to run, which is nice, but not ideal. I continue to be torn between hitting the road in the morning and the afternoon.

    I know, excuses. Get out and run…

    I added some Dave Matt Band to my mp3 player today… really odd combo but it seems to be working! :)

    I’m thinking of starting a running club for my tenants at work, I think it would be fun and would definitelly help w/the training for the Peachtree Rd Race. Will post further details on that later on ;)

    Arrite, I’m done playing with the internet and doing errands around the house, I’m ready to work out! :)
    I’m getting in 4 more miles before 12:30, hopefully there won’t be any dancing while running… :P

    Here are the facts of life people, listen and learn… MP3 player filled w/Jamie Cullum + Aretha Franklin + Da Hool + Eiffel 65 + Tom Jones = dancing while running (don’t try this at home kids).

    Now, all of the above + weights = accident waiting to happen.

    Other than that I had a terrific work out tonight. I did a little over 3 miles (brining this week’s total to 5).

    For my closing remarks, I would like to make the argument that it’s still cool to have Will Smith in one’s MP3 player. Getting jiggy with it can be good for one’s work out. :)

    We went to a book signing last night (Neil Boortz). We had to wait in line for hours, huge crowd, waiting to meet him. By the time we were done I had 5 more books in my arms and they weren’t even his!

    I’m going to be biking for a while… :/
