i think a personal site would be nice. for pictures, a blog perhaps.
although i want to think up a clever domain name.
sometimes i browse the Domain Name Aftermarket for ideas: http://www.tdnam.com/
It’s run by GoDaddy, who hosts my other website. they’re a really good outfit. haven’t had a single problem in the 2 years i’ve been working with them. :D

And I underestimated exactly how little I knew about web building….

For some reason A Small Orange will not let me register! It drove me nuts for the week, but I eventually gave up (only tonight realizing I needed more space to upload files) and did some looking around.
I did find this site http://www.dreamhost.com/ which looks good as well, so I’m hopeful by the end of this week I’ll have already started on getting my work up :)
However I have said something similar before…so we’ll see :P
I registered my first domain name recently and will soon develop a website to promote my translation services. Welcome to http://www.uakatty.com in a week. :)

Cause referring potential employers to my Deviantart and Youtube pages just isn’t going to cut it :P
I have absolutely no idea how to go about it though, as simple as it must be, I don’t even know where to start!
My creative side has been on fire lately, so I must settle on a domain name at long last. And a concept. And a design… but the point is, I will finally, after 8 years of wanting one, own my own domain.
finally got tired of waiting for “help” with this and did it my damn self using GoDaddy.com
affordable, and they even phoned me today to welcome me and see if I had any questions.
it’s gonna be parked for a bit while I work on the actual site, which I have tentatively scheduled to be up before the end of June.
I’ve got a few names picked out. Next step is the layout, and determination to turn it into something I can be proud of, not just another recyclable piece of webjunk.
