I have two hardening bits of skin on both elbows. I noticed them this week end. but I really feel them at work, when I type. They should be flat on the table, but on both sides it feels as if there’s a grain of rice in between my skin and the table surface. It’s really annoying. I’m going to keep an eye on the cycle to find out how long it takes.

Less stress in my life 2 years ago

So my elbows have healed completely! I am so happy about this. They got worse the more I worried about it, with a climax around christmas, new year’s. But now, I am fine. Yippie!
I’m ticking this goal off, even though I’m not 100% sure, but that way, I’ll pay even less attention to it.

Vorführeffekt. (Murphy's law) 2 years ago

It’s really funny, but since I have made the doctor’s appointment, my skin has gotten better and better. So, when I showed him my elbows this morning, the skin was way softer and not red at all, like the last weeks and months. Also, the few hardened areas were less thick. It was almost embarrassing to complain about this to a doctor. His advice was as expected: if it’s getting better by itself, I shouldn’t mess with it. And I won’t. Should it get worse, though, I’ll try the hemp oil and/or the tea tree oil.
Nevertheless, the doctor treated the wart I have had for 20 years, and I hope that that might have had some sort of effect. I have used just about any method to get rid of it, laser, ice, salicylic acid I told him the only thing I haven’t done was swinging a dead cat above my head at mignight by moonlight. So he put a liquid on it that is supposed to destroy cells, like an anti cancer substance. I shall see if it has any effect.

I'm going to the doctor on Friday. 2 years ago

Since about november I have “hard” elbows. The skin around my elbows has hardened here and there, looks red and feels thicker than it should be. It’s brittle and itches. It started on my left elbow, but now I’ve got it on both sides. It doesn’t look like any of the photos I have seen online, but the thought that it might develop to that level really scares me.
Another thing is that I don’t like my GP because I don’t think he takes me seriously. But that’s a different story altogether.
