I went out and bought a really good cleanser and moisturizer. I still have some toner left, but it’s getting pretty old. Until I am absolutely sure I have the money for it, I’m not going to spend any more money on anything. That being said, I will try to stick to the cleanser 2 times a day and moisturize followed by sunscreen routine, and we’ll see how that goes.

eventually to buy:

*toner for sensitive skin
*make up remover wipes (or cream? I’m not sure what’s best. ideas?)
*facial scrub for sensitive skin

Until February, I never really used a toner because I didn’t understand what it did. I went to a Sensaria party the last weekend in January and was so impressed by how good my skin looked and feeled after using the products ONCE that I decided to become a representative.

Doing It! 20 months ago

I am going to say that I have reached this goal, as I have stuck to my routine for more than 3 months now. 2 times a day I am going through my 3 step skin care routine. In the last month I have even added some extra things (such as eye cream) to my regiment.
I am very happy with my achievement, and wish all of those people with this goal the BEST of luck! YOU can do IT!!!

Almost There 2 years ago

Okay, I went out and purchased a good brand of facial products. I started using them both morning and night, on a regular basis. I’m very happy that I am keeping up my momentum. I want to continue this regiment for another month before I consider this goal accomplished though; I want to make sure that I stick to this routine.

Good Luck to all others with this goal!

Haven’t really been doing this and I must. Especially now that the winter is over and it’s not so cold anymore.

Starting again 2 years ago

I’ve had chicken pox and though I still have scabs I’ve pulled the ones on my face off. Yes I know thats a seriously stupid thing to have done but it’s done now. I read on some sites that Vitamin E cream helps with chicken pox scars and my bro in law had good results with calamine lotion so yesterday I very gingerly washed my face with Vitamin E cleanser, put on som cream and slathered on calamine just before bed. I’m just hoping and praying that eventually the scars will go away. :(

Missed my night routine – was very tired but still thats no excuse.

Better get started 2 years ago

I’ll be 28 this year so biologically my skin is going to fail me very soon unless I start taking better care of it. I need to follow at least a basic skin care regime especially since I seem to have finally grown out of my pimply phase. My other goals of eating healthy and exercising ought to help too but this goal is basically about following a skin care regime. Nothing too fancy – making sure I cleanse and moisturise everyday and exfoliate and apply a face pack every week is enough. Oh and I really need to get the hang of self- waxing. Thats one thing I miss about India – cheap beauty services.

So anyway, today morning I cleansed, moisturised and applied lip balm. This evening I need to give waxing another shot and repeat the morning routine. Lets see if I do it.

P.S. – Well I’ve attacked my moustache with wax strips and a tweezer and managed to thin it a bit. Andnow I will go wash my face, moisturise and drop into bed. Goodnight.

Stick to it 2 years ago

I have a skin care regime, I am excellent at following it in the morning and taking off make up, I’m a bit rubbish at the ‘before bed’ bit. I need to improve on this.
