well the other day i was getting ready to go into town and i was having a colourful day … so standing in front of my drawers i decided not to wear any black…... after search my drawers for 10 minutes i discovered that if i didnt want to wear any balck that meant that i had no pants, not jumpers and no shoes…. so basicly underwear and a t-shirt .. hmmm not a good look… so by the time i left the house i was in completly black and was feeling knida down !!! dammit…. oh well better luck next time right??? 3 years ago

My wardrobe has several more colors in it now and i dont often break out the black, but it hasnt really made a difference i think. if anything, its better that i stopped wearing hoodies all the time, but thats only attributed to the summer and they werent really ugly hoodies or anything, just something to walk to class in. 4 years ago

I was once only a black and neutral person. Now I love color…bright striking colors. Fabulous! 4 years ago

i feel incredibly bad about how i look. i always have….bad family genes. [which i know is no excuse] but i’m trying to change that. anyways, in the mean time [the past 4 years or so] my colour of choice is black. i love it. it fits my mood, it hides my [bountiful] imperfections. but i think it’s time to move on from my huge collection of black band t-shirts. i have so many and i love to declare my musical taste, but even so… it depresses me that i seem unable to bring myself to wear a colour other than black. ugh. maybe i should sell my band t-shirts on ebay and use the money to buy new clothing and join a bally fitness center or something. :-/ 5 years ago

proved to be a few steps back. they weren;t black band tees, but stylish black shirts. So maybe it wasnt a step back, just more of a standing in one place.
I did get something brown, though! AND pink. I’ve never owned a pink shirt before (okay. its just a tanktop for undersomething. but its close.) 5 years ago

is it just as bad to stop wearing black but replace it with a different color?
I’m starting to phase out black, but green is coming in. A green sweater, a girl sweatshirt, green tank tops. Green is invading. It’s less flattering than black, but it is a less emo color. Hmm. 5 years ago

I’m starting a new job Monday and it doesn’t require a uniform so I won’t be wearing more than a little black here and there! 5 years ago

well a good part of my work uniform is black. but I’ve been finding myself wearing it on my days off too ( black, not the work uniform ) and it just seems a bit depressing and I don’t think it’s as slimming as people say. 6 years ago

it changes your mood sometimes, when you wear less dark colors. however, it is still my chosen color to wear at night to go dancing. i just try not to wear too much of it in the daytime now. 6 years ago

the colours you wear really do have an impact on your psyche.
i don’t know if i will ever come away from all the black, but i intend to wear some kind of colour every day. i’m just sick of this all-over-black thing. then again i have been wearing only black for about seven years and it has become part of my personality. i just can’t suddenly push all the black away. besides, i like black, just not all over. 6 years ago
