    This gets to be extra-difficult on bad days because I sometimes find myself wishing I were someone else. Sucks to be me, I sometimes think, but then again, who else can I be?

    I’m stuck with myself until the day I die and possibly beyond that, so it only makes complete sense to change what I don’t like about me, and what I don’t like and can’t change I just learn to appreciate and live with. Comparing myself with other people rarely helps; I just end up focusing on what I’m not (and I sometimes beat myself up over that) instead of acknowledging the good things that I already have in me.
