Get my CNA

because I just don’t even have the money now to take the test, and pay for the license, and for this job that doesn’t pay very well. So maybe I’ll revisit this goal later.

I finally got to take the test on July 18th and I just got the results yesterday. I passed the written with a 90% and the skills with 100%.

that I can take the CNA test after I finish my first term PN school. So I will probably do this and try to get a part-time job in the field.

My last half-day of classroom time is tomorrow and the latter half we will be going to the clinical site. Clinicals will last until April 19th. I am nervous and excited at the same time. I think it will be a great experience.

for the classes starting on March 9th. It is full time and expected to be done by April 16th. I am really excited and have already started reading the textbook.

so my CNA class is coming to an end and all thats left is to practice, practice, practice my skills and take the test. I’m going to send my application with non-refundable $98.00 (I better pass the first time) probably tomorrow. I’ve chosen the test date to be either July 7, 2007 or July 21, 2007. Hopefully it’ll be the 7th, while all the skills and stuff is still fresh in my mind. They’ve become more strict, so this isnt going to be easy. I believe in myself and I know I can do it, even if its not the first time. Still, wish me luck!

I work for a school system in information technology and spend most of my time where I fell most comfortable, configuring and managing networks with Mac servers and workstations. I know that it would increase my marketability if I were to at least get this bottom rung Novell certification, but I just don’t work on it that much. It’s boring, actuall and there’s no way for me to apply it outside of a business. Yuck.
