Well, I’ve sort of achieved this. I’ve switched to caffeine free Diet Coke which has probably quartered my caffeine intake. I still take tea and coffee but I’m happy with my intake now so I’m marking this as done.

I used to go to Starbucks pretty much daily. I stopped going there a few days. During those days I felt like crap, like a part of me was missing, but I also felt like I was being cleansed and on the road to becoming a better version of the person I was with the caffeine in my system. But today was Saturday, and I was SOOOO bored and lonely so I went and got a Venti Caramel Frap. But I don’t feel bad. I think once in a while will be okay. I’m gonna try going the rest of the month without any caffeine. Giving up pop when I had braces, was NO problem whatsoever. Nowadays I don’t even drink pop. It’s disgusting. I’m sure the same will happen with coffee.
Also an interesting fact about caffeine I read: caffeine can stay in your system for 20 hours.
AND caffeine can make anxiety real real bad. So maybe doing this goal will help with my other one (of overcoming anxiety.)
Wish me luck guys! And good luck to you all!
I was never addicted to caffeine, but I realized that my caffeine consumption was making me feel awful! I would feel sick, and very anxious…I feel much much better now. Try it, you may be suprised!
I went shopping today and instead of buying about eight bottles of Diet Coke, as I would normally have done, I bought a range of different fruit juices and smoothies. Now I probably haven’t saved any money but, if I can manage to resist the urge to pick up some over-priced Diet Coke from the local convenience store, I should reduce my caffeine intake massively.
Need to be strong now!

Ack, uncle! I like my caffeine, my carbonation – the whole shebang, so I’m giving up on this one. I’m still keeping to my limit of no more than 1 SoBe per work day, so I should be good. Thank god this off my To Do list.
I feel so much better physically.
And I feel better mentally because I know that I am using my own energy, not artificial.

I went two days without caffeine. Weird, I know, and it wasn’t deliberate either; I just ran out. I know I should be saying I felt so much more energized, yada yada yada, but just the opposite. I slept more than I was awake. And my anxiety was just as bad as ever. Is that normal? :/
I keep putting this one off because I think I’ll get withdrawal headaches. Also, I like all of these things and, let’s face it, water is pretty boring.
I need to set a date for when I’m going to do this.

I have a helluva time waking up – and staying awake! – in the mornings, so I usually have 1 sugar-free SoBe. (I can’t stand the smell/taste of coffee – it reminds me of teachers, school, etc. – and everything else doesn’t have enough caffeine in it.)
Unfortunately, it’s not so great with my anxiety; hence the “1 SoBe per work day” goal. On my days off (ha ha), this rule doesn’t apply. (I rarely – if ever – drink more than 2 anyway, so that’s not a problem.)
