How I did it: Went to my Day Spa and got it done, along with a facial. Very cool! Skin is much smoother afterward! Need to do 3 sessions to get full benefit.

I haven’t mentioned this to my husband yet because he will probably say I don’t need it. I think he’ll be understanding and supportive about it though. I need to look further into the actual cost…
Just want a fresh look..clear the dead skin cells..extract those whiteheads or blackheads.

I’ve decided to give up on this. My reason for wanting it in the first place was because of the scars on my face from an allergic reaction.
When I was pregnant I used some skin toner that my fiance’s mother had, the next morning both my cheeks were covered in bumps. They were horrible…and it seemed like they were never going to go away. For months I tried & they just wouldnt go. It was horrible, I never had a problem with acne in my younger years so to have this happen to me when I was already 27 years old was such a pain. Finally it went away & the scars were left. bad ones…I hated my skin. I cried & cried forever over it.
I started using Bare Essentuals on my face & it really helped a ton they faded alot! I was impressed…Im a lifetime user now. But recently I purchased Banishing Cream and THAT has helped me so much! You can still see the scars but it’s harder to see them. I LOVE IT! I am so happy I tried it. Now…I can put this off…I may never need it. :] more money to use on something else. :P
It has been recommended so I starting researching and happened upon 43things. I’m new at this “beauty” technique so it seems revoluntary. More to come.

went to school for esthetics and learning to do microdermabrasion. i loved doing it as well as getting it. some people wonder if it works and it does. but there are some myths about it, it’s not really for everyone. i would say stick to the oily, acne prone, normal, combination group. definatly not if you have rosacea or if your skin gets easily erritated. microderm is a physical exfoliant, it combines crystals (look alot like sugar) and suction. but the skin types i mentioned before will notice a difference. especially someone with oily flaky skin.
